Connecting Copeland’s Hidden Coast /
I was commissioned to create a new body of work in the study area which shall be used for the project identity, design and web sites.
The Connecting Copeland’s Hidden Coast Programme (CCHC) is part of a wider coastal improvement project funded by Copeland Council, the Coastal Communities Fund, and Sellafield Ltd. It is designed to throw a light on this lesser known part of the West Cumbria coast through the development of a significant cultural and tourism offers.
Two thirds of the borough of Copeland sit within the Lake District National Park which is bounded by the Cumbrian coast and the Western Lake District fells. The area is well-known for its natural beauty and dynamic landscape, home to England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike, and its deepest lake, Wastwater, along with two World Heritage sites.
